IMPLEMENTATION OF EMPLOYEE COMPLAINTS EMAIL

We are pleased to inform that we have created an email to receive employees' complaints and concerns. All employee shall directly submit their grievances or concerns straight to the following email address: employee_complaints@tomtecndt.com.

Their grievances or concerns shall be treated confidentially. We will response the grievances /concerns fairly, promptly and effectively.

IMPLEMENTATION OF TOMTEC SAFETY GROUP CHAT

We are pleased to inform that we have implemented Safety Group Chat in WhatsApp for all employees with effect from 14/12/2017.

The purpose of this group chat is to :
i) share the occupational health and safety related informations;
ii) raise the safety awareness of the employees in Tomtec;
iii) report and learn from any unsafe conditions / acts at the workplaces;
iv) serve as an emergency communcation channel in case of emergency.

Tomtec Management enchorages and values the reports/comments/feedbacks of employees regard to any unsafe acts/conditions which they observed in their workplaces.

YEAR 2020

In January 2020, Tomtec has sucessfully transited from SS506 Part1:2009 / BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standards to ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and received accredited certification.


In January 2020, Tomtec have also successfully completed Lloyd's Register assessment and received the Approval of Service Suppliers for the provision of Surveys Using Remote Inspection Techniques (RIT) Of The Structure Of Ships And Mobile Offshore by use of Rope Access technicians


In March 2020, Tomtec have been audited by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and certify for the provision of Surveys Using Remote Inspection Techniques (RIT) Of The Structure Of Ships And Mobile Offshore by use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), Drones.


In April 2020, Tomtec is granted acceptance for the provision of Surveys Using Remote Inspection Techniques (RIT) as an alternative means for Close-up Survey of the structure of Ships and Mobile Offshore Units, in accordance with Class Programme DNVGL-CP-0484 by use of Rope Access technicians


YEAR 2019

Over the past few months, our Drone Team have worked hard to train and incorporate the use of Drones into our operations,we have received the Unmanned Aircraft Operator Permit issued from Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), as an approval to use Drones for our inspection on May 2019.

TOMTEC is certified by RINA (Registro Italino Navale) Class for Part A - Thickness Measurement on Ships in compliance with the RINA "Rules for the Certification of Service Suppliers".

YEAR 2013

Accredited by Singapore Accreditation Council to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for specific scope within the field of Non-Destructive Testing.

Approved in accrodance with the requirement of LR (Lloyd's Register) Class as a service suppiler for the provision of Thickness Measurement of Hull Structure - Scope of Approval: Type B.


YEAR 2000

Certified by BV (Bureau Veritas) Class for Thickness Measurements of hull structure of ships classed with the society, within the scope of the Rules, Part A, Chapter 2.

Subsequently, certified by KR (Korean Register of Shipping) Class for Thickness Measurement of Structural material of classed vessel in accordance with Rules and Regulations of this Society.


YEAR 1999

Recognised by ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) as a Service Provider for ESP and Non-ESP Vessels Hull Gauging Firm .


YEAR 1998

Approved by NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) Class for Thickness Measurement on Ships under the Rules for Approval of Manufacturers and Service Suppliers of the Society.




WSH PERFORMANCE AWARD 2018

TOMTEC has achieved Sembcorp Marine's WSH Performace Awards in recognition of outstanding achievements in Zero Lost Time Injury for four consecutive quarters from January to Decemeber 2018.


ZIA (ZERO IS ATTAINABLE) CONTRACTOR AWARD

In recognition and appreciation of our support and commitment in Operational Excellence, Cheveron Thailand Exploration and Prodcution Ltd has awarded us ZIA Contractor Awards for three consecutive years from year 2013 to 2015.


LETTER OF APPRECIATION (BANYU URIP PROJECT)

Our staff personnel have received the letter of appreciation for their valuable contribution at Sembawang Shipyard Singapore during R&LE and Conversion work from Mar 2012 until a safe and sucessful sail-away of FSO Gagak Rimang on 26 Sep 2014.


CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT (NO LOST TIME INJURY)

Singapore Refining Co.Pte.Ltd has presented the Certificate of Achievementin recogniton of no lost time injury safety performance and timely completion of Hydrocracker 2 Turnaround 1999.





WSH CARNIVAL 2009

As a resident contractor of Sembawang Shipyard, Tomtec has participated in a three-day "Safety Starts With Me" WSH Carnival for 2009.
