Gamma Radiography Inspection
Gamma Radiography is a Non Destructive Testing method that use the radiant energy in form of gamma rays to produce a two dimensional image of an objects onto a sensitized film. This method has the ability to detect surface and subsurface discontinuities on structural and weldments without damaging or disassembly of the components. Gamma rays are emitted from radioactive isotopes, in the form of Cobalt 60 or Iridium 192. Radiography film provides a permanent record.
